By Car and Ferry
The only way to reach Limnos by car is to take the ferry from the port of Kavala. There is an alternative route from Thessaloniki, but we don’t recommend it because of the higher cost and journey time. Depending on the ferry you get it will take about 3-4 hours to arrive on the island. We suggest arriving at the port of Kavala at least 1 hour before the ferry departure. When you arrive in Limnos at the port of Myrina, follow the signs for the airport(18km) and after approximately 1 km the main road bears right you need to take the turn left to Kontopouli. You will pass through Repanidi, Kaliopi and follow the signs to Keros beach.
Please drive slowly on the road going to the station as they could be bicyclists and people walking on the sides of the road.

By Plane
Limnos Island has an International Airport(LXS). The airport is located 14km away from Keros beach. There are several airlines, operating regular flights from Athens – Olympic Air, Aegean Air and the low-cost carrier – Sky Express. There are also regular flights from Thessaloniki airport, which is the second-busiest airport in Greece, served by Astra Airlines. Thessaloniki airport operates with many low-cost carriers and it is the fastest and cheapest option to get to Limnos, by plane.
